Reservations
To make a reservation a per person deposit is required if more than sixty days prior your trip date:
Ontario Trips Deposit - $150 Cnd ($115 US) /person
British Columbia Trip Deposit - $250($185) /person
Balance Due
The balance for your trip is due 60 days prior the first day of your trip. Reserving within 60 Days
Within 60 days of the first day of your trip full payment is due upon booking. Taxes for Adventure Trips
Our Canadian government levies a Goods and Services tax (GST) currently at 7% of the total invoice. All companies are required to collect this tax and as such this 7% is in addition to our trip costs. Payment Methods
Acceptable payment methods are by credit card, Travelers Cheques and Money Orders. We accept Visa, Master Card and American Express credit cards. Trip Disruptions
Once you have reserved, rest assured that your vacation plans with Out For Adventure Wilderness Trips will run. Only circumstances out of our control (natural disaster, extreme weather etc.,) will upset our planned trips. Minimum Group Sizes
Out For Adventure Wilderness Trips does not have a disclaimer about minimum group size for scheduled tours, (unless specified on the tour description) therefore your tour will run regardless of the number of participants. If You Had To Cancel Your Vacation
Although very unusual, there may arise the need to cancel your vacation plans. All cancellation requests must be sent in writing to our office. This helps avoid any confusion. Include all your trip information and the names of the parties requesting the cancellation. Contact our office and speak trip one of trip consultants to discuss details. Cancellation Policy - Regular Trips
Upon receiving your written request to cancel, we will refund your payment according to the following schedule. 60 days or more prior to departure:
Full refund less a $75 administration fee/person.
60 to 30 days prior to departure:
Full refund less deposit.
29 - 15 days prior to departure:
50% refund of the total tour cost will be refunded.
14 days or less prior to departure:
no refund.
| Cancellation Policy - Custom Trips
Custom Trips are trips that have been custom designed and planned for your group specifically. Do to the nature of creating a custom tour, the standard cancellation policy does not apply. Please contact our office for details on your particular trip. Cancellation Insurance
We strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance should it become necessary for you to cancel your trip. You can purchase this at your local travel agency right after booking your tour.  Medical Forms / Liability Release Forms
Out For Adventure Wilderness Trips operates a fully licensed and insured operation. As is required by all reputable, insured, adventure companies, we require that a medical form and liability release be completed, signed and returned to our office upon booking your trip. These forms are included with your Out For Adventure Welcome Package™ which is mailed to you upon booking. Personal information provided is kept confidential and only released to your guide, or in the event of a medical emergency as required by appropriate health officials and or attendants.

Adventure vacations by their very nature are subject to many uncontrollable influences. In fact, it is this very thing that makes many so memorable. The adventure traveler must acknowledge and accept the possibility that any of these influences may result in a change of literary. that we are subject to the whims of nature and/or other circumstances, and as such may have to change details or routes of our itinerary to accommodate our dynamic environment.
A list of suggested accommodations for before and after your adventure tour will also be with your Out For Adventure Welcome Package™. There are some wonderful local B&B's, hostels, motels etc., so look in the "accommodation" section of your Welcome Package™.
