Out For Adventure Wilderness Tours has its retail Outdoor Store and Outfitting Centre in Quathiaski Cove, Quadra Island in British Columbia.

Quadra Island

It is accessible by a short ferry ride from Campbell River, situated on Vancouver Island.
If you are joining us on the Orca Encounters tour you can meet us either at our base on Quadra Island (parking is available here) or in Telegraph Cove (the departure point) which is about a 2 ½ hour drive north from Campbell River. Vehicle parking is also available in Telegraph Cove for $5 Cnd/night. We also have a scheduled pickup in Campbell River at Tim Horton’s (donuts & coffee) if you are traveling sans vehicle.

Getting to Campbell River
Vancouver Island is accessible from the mainland of British Columbia and Washington, United States by ferry and air. Campbell River is located on central Vancouver Island 153 km (approximately 2 hours) north from Nanaimo or 264 km (approximately 3.5 hours) from Victoria on the Island Highway 19. Tim Horton’s is centrally located on the Island Highway 19 about 1 km (½ mile) from the Quadra Island ferry terminal. Getting to Quadra Island
Quadra Island is approximately a 10 minute ferry ride from Campbell River. The ferry leaves Campbell River every hour on the half hour. The terminal is located on the Island Highway 19 in downtown Campbell River. For details on the ferry schedule, see the BC Ferry website:
www.bcferries.ca. When you arrive on Quadra Island, our tour office is located just up the hill from the ferry terminal at the Quadra Plaza.
Getting to Telegraph Cove
Telegraph Cove is located on the eastern coast of Northern Vancouver Island, 2 ½ hours north of Campbell River and 30 minutes south of Port McNeill. The tiny community is about 11 kilometers off the Island Highway 19 via Beaver Cove Road.

QAirlines:
Scheduled flights on Pacific Coastal Airlines arrive daily at the Campbell River and District Regional Airport from Vancouver and Victoria Airport (car rentals are available at Campbell River airport). Air Canada flies into Vancouver and Victoria. WestJet flights are available to Vancouver, Victoria and Comox (about 45 minutes south of Campbell River).
